36% Possession at home v Watford?
Not like me to have a moan, and am grateful for the win as they don't come along often, BUT we were penned in our half by WATFORD all 2nd half. Did Moyes tell them to defend the 1-0 advantage as if their lives depended on it before they came back out as that was about the measure of it. FORTRESS LONDON STADIUM!

Oh yeah sorry just seen they put four past Chelsea zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Stop fucking whining. Decent win and we were pretty much in charge of this the entire game.

I think with better players available in the middle of the park we’d do a better job of keeping the ball, camped out on the edge of our box in the second half for the last 3 home games - every time the ball is cleared there is no one there to retain it / win second balls.

Remarkable failure of the boards to not address two transfer windows running.

36% possession.
2 goals.
3 points.

Two out of three ain't bad.

Re: 36% Possession at HOME v WATFORD?
i doubt he told them to do that. if he had that much power he'd surely have just told them to score another 4 goals.
basically the players got tired, got nervous and retreated. it happens. just like away losses and scrappy wins.

Just be grateful for the points, they're probably the last ones well get until our draw with Burnley.

Just shows how stats can be decieving. We were by the better side in the first hald and could have been three up at half time.

They had a lot more of the ball second half but created nothing whereas we could have easily had another couple on top of the one we scored.

So in summary , you can try and slag the team off because a pointless stat , I’ll go with what I saw with my eyes which was a decent win.

Physical but well drilled side, but final ball poor, lost count of Ginge headed clearances, Ogbonna excellent.

Difference today was Arnoutovich, tired in the last 20 but what a handful for any defender

Possession is the worst stat there is.
We had the more clear cut chances but the stats don't show that.
Leicester won the league with very low possession percentage.

Leicester won the league with very low possession percentage.

43% (that's home and away) not too shabby, their not Man Utd, average for premier league champions is 58%.

36% at HOME v Watford is dire.

They changed their formation and Deulofeu got more of the ball

I'm not one to moan but my stream was shit last night is that Moyes fault?

Who gives a fuck

We played well they hardly bothered Adrian

I don’t find watching defenders pass the ball sideways while going nowhere good to watch

You’d love it tho imagine we could beat people 59 possession to 41

What was your favourite game where we pissessioned the shit out of opponents?

Didn't we once get smashed by CHARLTON (waves at Dicksie) when we DOMINATED possession stats?

Re: 36% Possession at HOME v WATFORD?
They should change the way you win a game. It should be on who has the most possession rather than goals. It seems that some on here think possession is a lot more important to goals already.

Re: 36% Possession at HOME v WATFORD?
Possession means nothing the score proves that.

I am no fan of how Moyes sets the team to play but then I look at our players the pace is just not there to go past teams the way we as fans would like to see.
I want to see attacking football I just think to do so you need a very good defence and pace throughout I do not think we have that, not now.

Re: 36% Possession at HOME v WATFORD?
It's a point worth making. There wasn't much control, and it clearly needs major surgery before next season. But dreams of coherent football are out of the window right now aren't they? We just need to brute force some results.
